Prenatal- and Birth Training with Regina Buecher and Mary Jackson
Integrating pre- and perinatal experiences
in the family setting and with adults in a small group setting
At our core, we are healthy, sentient beings. Each person is precious and capable of living a fulfilling life. The life of our ancestors, our conception, pregnancy, birth, and early childhood leave imprints on our healthy blueprint and influence our daily life. These imprints influence how we perceive ourselves and how we relate to others. The imprints are deep in our body, in the implicit memory.
Attending this training you will learn the fine art of being with little ones and their families, with children of any age as well as how to be with adults. The training gives knowledge and experience of how to support people of all ages to be with their early experiences and how to integrate these.
This training is a learning and a growing process at the same time. You will learn about healthy early development and also about interventions and challenges during the pre- and perinatal period and in family-life.
Requirements for being in the training:
- Working with families, babies, children, or with adults.
- Introduction in biodynamic cranio-sacral therapy.
- Basic knowledge about human anatomy and physiology.
- Having ongoing therapeutic support and/or supervision.
- Having done at least one workshop with Mary and Regina in the last two years.
- Abstaining from nicotine and drugs.
- Abstaining from alcohol one week before and during the modules, as well as in all womb surrounds.
Language:
This training will be bilingual in English and German. There will be a translation in both languages.

After each module, there will be some creative projects to be done at home with special topics, which supports the integration of the last module and prepares you for the next module. Also, you will need to do two (if you already did two WS in advance) or three (if you only did one WS in advance) more womb surrounds, either with Mary and Regina or with somebody else who is a certified womb surround practitioner.

Training Goals:
In this training, there will be exercises that support us to develop our inner knowing and wisdom of this work. Just to name some:
- how to connect to our inner health and wisdom
- how to create a safe surround in which even the tiniest little ones feel safe
- how to broaden our perception to be able to understand at a body level what the little ones and people of all ages are telling us
- how to support healthy relationships.
The learning of this training mostly is from the inside out, from the implicit memory to the explicit. Therefore the teaching consists of exercises, talking, slides and videos. The training extends over eight modules which consist of 6 days each. Each module addresses special topics and the skills that are needed to support families and small groups. So over the modules, we deepen more and more into this skillset. To name some of the foundation skills:
- Orienting to the blueprint
- Orienting to the midline
- Being able to support the health in the system
- Creating a safe and protected surround
- Being aware of relationship dynamics in the family and in a small group setting
- Supporting healthy connections
- Tracking energetic, physiologic, and psychological patterns
- Differentiating the here and now from the history
- Knowing one's own imprints
- Establishing layers of support
- Tracking the cycles of the nervous system
- Being able to support the experience from the inside out
- Pacing, slowing down
- Being able to be with tensions fields (instead of identifying with them)
The specific topics of the modules are:
Module 1: Preconception- and conception journey
Module 2: Bonding and Attachment
Module 3: Birth
Module 4: Chemical interventions
Module 5: Surgical interventions
Module 6: Double Binds and existential situations in life
Module 7: Double Binds continued
Module 8: Family- and group dynamics, integration
Module 1: Preconception- and conception journey
In the first module, we look at the basics of integrating pre- and perinatal experiences, for example perceiving, creating and supporting inner resources, orienting to the blueprint, being with the health in the system, creating a safe surround, etc. These basics will be deepened in every following module. In the first module, we will also get to know the embryology and dynamics of the preconception and conception journey. Through integrating energetic, somatic, physiological and psychological principles we grow into a fundamental therapeutic attitude, which supports mindful loving respect for human beings of all ages.
Module 2: Bonding and Attachment
In the second module, we look at the process of bonding and attachment, beginning already before the pregnancy, all through pregnancy, birth and the time after birth. For example, we look at dynamics of implantation, being with the cycles of the autonomic nervous system and the craniosacral fluid, bonding and attachment after birth, cutting the umbilical cord, supported attachment, first contact of the newborn with his mom and dad after birth, being aware of the leading edge, etc.
Module 3: Birth
In the third module, we look at healthy birth, for example at the sequences of birth, the cooperation of mother and child on a physiological, energetic and relationship level, possible birth movement patterns and also the effects of the birth on the cranio-sacral system, etc. Here also belongs looking at one's own birth history.
Module 4: Chemical interventions
In the fourth module, we will look at the consequences of and at the possibilities to integrate the experience of chemical interventions during pregnancy and birth.
Module 5: Surgical interventions
In the fifth module, we look at the consequences and the possibilities of integrating surgical interventions, through pregnancy, birth and post birth, like amniocentesis, caesarian section, vacuum extraction, forceps, operations as a baby, etc.
Module 6: Double Binds and existential situations in life – 1
In this module, we look at double binds and paradoxes for example under the aspect of possible imprints of the ancestors, twin - dynamics, lost twin. We also look at the dynamics of transference, countertransference, projection.
Module 7: Double Binds and existential situations in life - 2
In module 7 we meet further aspects of the double bind dynamics and of existential situations in life, for example, miscarriages, abortions, reproductive technology, adoption, death and loss in the family, neonatology, divorce, abuse, etc.
Module 8: Family- and group dynamics, integration
Through all the other modules we were working with the skill set to support families and small groups of people in integrating their early imprints and to grow into their inner potential being. In this last module, we look at family dynamics, group dynamics, and at possible ways to be with them. The components of all other modules will be integrated.
